Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Gedeb Worka Sakaro, an Ethiopian Heirloom varietal, is sourced from 410 farmers who cultivate coffee on small plots then deliver cherries to two family-owned washing stations in the Gedeb district. The cherries are hand sorted, floated, depulped, fermented for 48 hours, then washed before being placed on raised beds to dry over 12 to 15 days.
We light roast this coffee to bring out notes of vanilla and sweet plum with a mild acidity.
