India Monsoon Malabar, sourced from family-owned farms in the Chikmagalur growing region of Karnataka in southern India, gains its unique flavor from the special processing done to the beans after picking. During monsoon season, the beans are exposed to constant humid conditions which causes them to to swell and lose acidity, resulting in a mellow, smooth flavor profile with a practically neutral pH balance.
Our medium-dark roast highlights the earthy chocolate notes and leaves hints of molasses with light astringency. Brew in a french press for a full-bodied, midday cup or try this as an espresso shot.
